Guangye Cao is an alumna of OCESS who left the organization premeturely after the 2006-07 school year due to her choice to spend her last year of highschool in China. During her time with the club, she was very involved in areas of public relations and the planetarium program. She served as the planetarium commander in the year 2006-07 and was designated as the planetarium commander under the first year of the restructured hierarchy, which would have seen her rise to club head status. However, she did not return to take the post.
